Well, that's a bit fast! Not thrash metal fast, but damn fine guitarist fast. Mark Tremonti may be best known for his amazing work in Alter Bridge, but don't forget his solo stuff. The single for 'Bringer of War' is beautiful in brutality. It's still singalongable and quite airguitarable. It's a modern heavy metal tome with slick, clean production values.



Mark Tremonti decided to write not only a concept album but a full fledged book all centered around  the album, A Dying Machine.   The story takes place at the turn of the next century where humans and fabricated beings called “vessels” are trying to co-exist. hhhmmm sounds a bit Battlestar Galactica to me.



Mark Tremonti will be on tour this summer with Iron Maiden. Check out the dates below!
