So dark. So delicious. Much like. Stoner doom is a genre that I am taking a liking to. It's because of bands like Seeress. They have this gravitas in the music that makes it palpable. Fiend is a mix of eerie scary horror movie music, heady psychedelic indica, metal guitar riffs, and serious bass. 'Ancestral Moon' is like a Black Sabbath Tool hybrid. I like any band where I can clearly hear the bass guitar and Seeress delivers. The bass is just as melodic and prominent as the guitars and drums. 'Vessels' reminds me of The Plasmatics or The Creatures. Love it! There is very much an underground in your face type of vibe on Fiend. I'd love to hear '5thCircuits' live at one of those underground punk makeshift venues in Philly or Trenton that they used to have back in the day. Like 90s places that were the basements of churches or 2nd floor with rickety stair cases in South Philly or those areas in Trenton you only go to for punk shows. You know the ones! Seeress possesses some smooth ass vocals from  Heitham Al-Sayed that are sometimes creepy AF! Speaking of creepy 'A Crown of Birds'. ì§„짜?  Nine minutes and nineteen seconds of arm hair raising goosebumps looking over your shoulder something is coming out of the woods to kill me. I love it! As usual, definitely buy this from Seeress' bandcamp. That way the band gets the dosh they worked hard to earn and so richly deserve!
